Good morning Dr Kakar, I think this is a much smaller example of a bush that grows in Mauritania, leptadenia pyrotechnics I think. It grows around 2m tall and the stems are filled with a very saline fluid which gave me a rash. I was sitting in the shade of one as my riding camel ate. Liquid droped down onto my arm which became reddened. I used their drying out in belts over the years as a an indication of the Sahara moving south.
I hope all is well with you and your family.
