I always advocated and supported planting native flora for the beautification of lawns, municipalities, and gardens. There are many reasons for my belief as, such flora are highly adapted and need very low or zero inputs. I have written a lot about this topic. You can make fences with local flora. Here is a native flora Haloxyllon climbing on a wire wall. Heloxylon selicornicum is Xerophyte as well as halophyte. They erect the walls and get taller up to 3 meters.
I strongly appeal to all the people and municipalities of the world, especially the Arabian Peninsula to adopt the best solution and conserve nature by using native flora/shrubs for hedging, fencing, wall beautifications, herbariums, botanical gardens, lawns, and other vegetation projects because of many reasons. The idea is equally good for all the regions of the world but here my main focus is on the desert flora and Arabian Peninsula. To understand the idea better, please click on the link below.
