Beautiful Dhofari Naqa in Salalah Oman

The camels in Salalah are predominantly comprised of Khawar or Dhofari breed. They are highly adapted to the mountainous ecosystems and rely on the local vegetation and thrive very well. They produce a reasonable quantity of milk with an average above 10 kg per day. I use the word Naqa for a lactating camel as it is the original name in its original habitat. I have suggested many times to revise the camel terminologies as the cow terminology is being used for the camels in general. Here is my take on the terminology issue.
