Most US ice creams contain stabilizer ingredients that are bad for the stomach, and excessive sugar. Date powder is a much better sweetener choice! Probably more expensive but much more healthy than refined sugars. Dates are available but not widely eaten by Americans as in the Middle East.

The mothers are outside the calf shelter because the weather is extremely hot and we have provided cooling/sprinckling system for the calfs. The calves are kept outside with their mom when it is night or cold hours. Day time, we control the milk feeding because of diarhea. We do not separate the calves from the mothers. We are an ethical camel farm.
