Animal fattening for Eidul Adha is an excellent activity. The huge number of animals required for slaughter at this event by the Muslim population of the the country need to be provided to the local market. Animal fattening provide good quality animals as compared to the culled animals provided for this purpose. At this same time it is an income generating activity for the rural population.
