Despite the huge number of camel population (4.7 million) in Sudan and its advanced rank in the international camel census, its production still faces some constraints and problems in its quality and quantity. Genetic factor and the pattern or systems of management are the main factors affecting camel improvement in the Sudan. This conference aims towards discussing such problems and spreading some awareness on the importance of this animal globally.
